Refund and Returns Policy

At Horopito Motors, we’re committed to honest service and customer satisfaction. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase or it has been supplied incorrectly, we’ll do our best to help.

How to Return a Part

Simply contact us or visit our Horopito yard with your item and proof of purchase. We’ll help process a return, exchange, or credit where applicable.

Conditions of Return

All returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the item.

Please return items within 30 days of purchase.

Parts must be unused (if new), in the same condition as purchased, and with any original packaging (if applicable).

A copy of your receipt or order confirmation is required.

Please note: Specifically sourced parts or custom orders are not eligible for return unless they are faulty or not fit for purpose. Purchaser is also responsible for all return charges. It is also recommended to use tracking when returning an item for refund or exchange as this will not be processed until received and checked for condition. Any amount paid for shipping or freight is non-refundable.

Assessing Returns for Used Parts

As many parts are used, we carefully check each return to ensure fairness for all customers. If a part is suspected to be faulty, we may need to assess it further – which could involve consultation with specialists or the part’s original supplier.

Examples of items that require assessment include:

Electrical components
Engine parts
Specialty and rare finds

Once the assessment is complete, we will contact you with the outcome and arrange for a refund, exchange, or credit where appropriate.

Also note: Where we agree to refund, a handling fee of 20% of the purchase price will be deducted off fee.

Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned:

Items that have been used, fitted or altered in any way
Items that have been incorrectly ordered, description and measurements not checked accordingly to the items description as listed on the website.
